It’s hard to think it’s only been a couple of weeks since our 2026 leavers left, and have now had their first days at school.

We all hope they’ve had the most fabulous week and wish them well on their next journey of their learning.

Time flies far too quickly - this is for sure.

One day you’ll walk through the grocery store…

and no one will ask if they can ride in the cart anymore.

No little legs dangling over the side.

No tiny voice asking,

“Mom, can we get the cereal with the marshmallows?”

For years grocery trips feel like chaos.

You’re opening snacks.
Wiping spills.
Trying to finish shopping before someone melts down in aisle five.

At the time it just feels exhausting.

But one day the cart is empty.

No one asking for cookies.
No one reaching for your hand.

And suddenly those loud, messy shopping trips become memories you wish you could visit again.

Motherhood is strange like that.

The moments that feel hardest…

often turn out to be the ones you miss the most.
