A reminder to parents and carers…all Green Meadows sites open to pupils on Monday 7th September. Staff will be spending 1-4th September taking part in a range of statutory training including safeguarding and medical training.

An advert has gone live today for a brand new role. We’re looking to recruit an Attendance and Off Site Provision Officer to help break down barrier to attending school.

We are delighted to be able to use a local business to support our pupils to develop their physical skills as well as go into the community.

All set up and ready for this year’s (delayed) prom. We can’t wait to welcome the pupils. Thank you to Katie who’s lead on organising the prom this year.

We had a burst pipe which meant Back Lane had to be closed today. That meant we were able to offer a bonus level 1 Makaton course with Heather. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan when the water is switched back on tomorrow and we can welcome pupils back on Monday. We have some celebrating to do with our leavers.

Today has been a day of celebration for three of our amazing teachers. Rosie, Nafisah and Rihanna have all completed their Teacher Apprenticeship this year with us. Well done ladies!

This week some of our Y10/11 pupils went to London for 2 nights. They had the most amazing time visiting all the sights. The staff are really proud of them all. Wellspring Academy Trust

What a fabulous evening watching Lion King. Everyone is safely tucked up in bed.

Y10/11s have just been on an open top bus tour around London. Lunch in Green Park before a walk up to Leicester Square.

The pupils are all up, fed and watered having had a good sleep. We're heading into central London shortly.
