Good brief, this podcast is MUST listen for those teaching about enslavement in the Roman Empire! You'll have some perceptions confirmed, some expanded and a richer understanding of what life was like for those little to nothing was recorded in writing for.

Utterly brilliant from and !

An amazing find to share if you're teaching the Roman Empire and how goods traded across it were moved. It's a useful way in to think about economics and culture.

We are getting there! The unit will be published early next week as I'm just making some final adjustments to ensure the narrative flow works effectively.

Are you teaching KS2 world history in Autumn term? Make sure you take a look at the BBC Bitesize pages as there is lots of new content including videos for units including Early Islam, Benin, Indus, Sumer and this one for the Greeks!

I'm delighted with how they turned out as I was part of the team that worked on the upgrade!

Do you teach the Suffragettes in KS2? If so, have you considered including Sophia Duleep Singh? She is of Indian noble heritage and is pictured outside Hampton Court Palace selling the Suffragette newspaper. In addition, she was a nurse!

What bloomin' hero!

Loads of resources out there to support a unit on her. If you don't teach her now, would you if I wrote a unit?
