Gold is strongly bearish right now. Price is around 4,308–4,310, below all the major EMAs, with strong downside momentum. The broader market also remains under pressure after the break below the ~$4,400 area and 200-day MA.
🔴 SETUP 1 — BEST SELL
SELL ZONE: 4,345–4,360
* Entry: 4,345–4,360
* SL: 4,375
* TP1: 4,325
* TP2: 4,305
* TP3: 4,285
* TP4: 4,260
Trigger: Let price retrace into the zone and wait for a 5M bearish rejection/engulfing candle. Don’t sell while price is already dumping.
🔴 SETUP 2 — STRONGER SELL
SELL ZONE: 4,400–4,420
This is particularly interesting because the chart shows previous support around this region now potentially acting as resistance.
* Entry: 4,400–4,420
* SL: 4,440
* TP1: 4,375
* TP2: 4,345
* TP3: 4,310
* TP4: 4,285
Confirmation required: liquidity sweep above the zone → rejection → bearish engulfing/M5 structure break.
🟢 BUY — ONLY AFTER CONFIRMATION
I wouldn’t blindly buy 4,300 after this selloff.
Potential buy zone: 4,280–4,300
* Entry: 4,285–4,300 after bullish confirmation
* SL: 4,265
* TP1: 4,320
* TP2: 4,345
* TP3: 4,365
For this buy, I want to see sell-side liquidity swept + strong bullish rejection + M5/M1 structure shift.
🚨 Most important level
4,400 is the key level now. Current technical analysis also identifies $4,400 as important support/resistance, with a break below it exposing the ~$4,300 area.
My preference from this chart:
SELL THE RETRACEMENT rather than chase the current drop.
Priority:
🥇 4,400–4,420 SELL
🥈 4,345–4,360 SELL
🥉 4,280–4,300 BUY only with reversal confirmation
No setup can be guaranteed “most accurate”; the confirmation candle is what keeps you from entering directly into another liquidation move.
