Pleasure to welcome Phillip Holland from 5G Communications to our Leeds head office recently.
It gave us chance to show one of our employer partners how we work and meet the humans behind it all.

Really appreciate Phillip taking the time to speak with learners on our fully-funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority level 3 IT & Telecoms programme - genuinely inspiring for our learners and helped motivate them (even more).
To cap it off, one of our London learners has secured a full-time permanent position and starts work soon!

Our work doesn't end in the classroom - days like these highlight the importance of meeting face-to-face, building strong employer relationships and creating meaningful pathways into employment.

We’re proud to work in partnership with forward-thinking employers like NG Bailey to bridge the skills gap and provide access to fully trained, job-ready candidates.

Victoria and Amy from Aim2Learn recently hosted a visit from Samantha and Pam of NG Bailey.

They visited our new head office in Leeds city centre where we could showcase the full range of facilities we offer learners and how we’re equipping them with the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to succeed in the IT and telecoms sectors.

They also met with our MD, Stuart, got to see a live practical assessment and speak to our learners about their journeys, motivations, and career ambitions.

These conversations are invaluable in aligning talent with real opportunities and ensuring learners are fully prepared for the workplace.

We've got strong links with major employers, so it was great to welcome Circet UK & IRE to our London Aim2Learn offices recently.

We hosted Drew Cairns and Andrew McGill from Circet - lots of great conversations around upcoming recruitment needs and how we can continue strengthening our partnership to create more opportunities for our learners.

Drew and Andrew also took the time to speak with our telecoms BTEC level 2 learners, sharing valuable insights into what it’s like to work in the industry, the roles available at Circet while answering a range of thoughtful questions.

It was brilliant to see our learners so engaged - inspiring and motivating. We’re excited to continue growing this partnership and supporting even more learners into employment with Circet.

We have real links with amazing employers, so it was fantastic to welcome 5G Comms to our London office recently to meet our learners and the team.

Simon Wade and Philip Holland previously interviewed our full cohort of learners online.

As a result, job applications were made by many and some came through interviews to secure paid placements.
