Spotlight on common exception words this week. Reading, writing and spelling them. Oh, and spot the nod to Halloween 😂

Some of my learners' parents have asked me to make them copies of my times table resources. These two are the most popular, really quick, snappy times table practice with lots of repetition.

My top 5 pictures from tutoring this week. One young learner, who is only just 6, amazed me with her sentence "My tall uncle sneezed powerfully ". I think we all know someone like that!

I started JTM Tutoring in February this year and I'm delighted to say that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I now have over 10 young learners and am officially full! However, I do have a waiting list so if you're thinking a tutor might benefit your child then please contact me and I can pop your name on my waiting list and contact you when I have availability.

If you're thinking a tutor may help your child, then please read what parents have been saying about me:

✨️"We have seen real progress over the last 3 months. There is excitement before each session which is amazing to see ... we have seen a real difference in her ability and confidence "✨️

✨️"You've helped him not only academically but also believe in himself and reach his potential. It means so much ... to see how far he has come, and we're incredibly grateful for everything you've done"✨️

✨"️Joanne is very professional, trustworthy, kind, patient and knowledgeable ".✨️

My young learner absolutely loved doing these. I definitely underestimated what a hit they'd be. He's asked me if I can bring some more to our next session. I'll step up the challenge with more adjectives next time!

This lovely feedback has made my day. It's such a privilege to be able to tutor and meet such lovely families ☺️

A favourite of mine is looking at months of the year. Children are always excited to find their birthday month, the birthday month of siblings and friends and other memorable events.

A snapshot of some of this week's sessions. It's been lovely doing holiday tutoring and seeing my learners looking so refreshed and starting to look forward to the new school year.
