Friday at my setting are known as ‘Funtime Fridays’
We try to do something one of the children wants to do each week.
Today’s choice was soft play !

We had a wonderful time in lovely air conditioned surroundings too 😜

Oh what a wonderful morning we had!

Today we visited Hotham Park and went on the miniature railway 🚂
The children thoroughly enjoyed it, we even practiced our choo choo sounds 🥰

We then had a picnic snack and a lovely play underneath the beautiful trees. It’s was lovely , shaded and cool.

Back to mine for lunch and sleeps

Today we visited Chichester Cathedral
The children explored the beautiful surroundings on the colour trail.
We saw an alter, pews, a Roman mosaic, statues, bronzes and tapestries. We even got to hear the organ playing!
We had a lovely picnic lunch in the stunning gardens and then had a run around, or crawl around 😁 in the shade.
The children had a wonderful time.

Definitely a great way to spend a Wednesday.

I ask one of the children what they would like to do on Friday, know as Funtime Friday in my setting. He wanted to visit the seafront 🥰
We met with another setting Tiny Shephards Child Care

Had a wonderful time exploring and even had snack time at The Boathouse.
We found some amazing pebbles, did some mark making on the prom with some chalks, you might be able to see our drawings 😀

My own son had serious croup as a baby and was blue lighted to hospital with difficulty breathing. Unfortunately, he used to get it yearly up to the age of about 7 years old.
It’s always good to know what to look out for as little ones can deteriorate so quickly.
