We will be performing at Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare again this October. With a selection of soliloquies, sonnets and duologues performed by students and staff. Tickets are £5 - with all money going directly to the temple - and can be purchased by visiting: https://www.garrickstemple.org.uk/events/

What an amazing week, with an amazing cast of young people! Another show down and plenty more to come. A massive ‘thank you’ to all in our school community who came and supported the show and we’ll see you all for our KS3 Drama Club showcase in February and then ‘School of Rock’ in April 🎸

Today was our first ‘Year 7 Music Mixer’. Over 150 pupils got the opportunity to hear, play and learn about a wide range of instruments. Huge thanks to our local musicians and peripatetic teachers, for giving up their time and expertise for a such a valuable event! 🎶

Now we’ve hopefully had some time to sleep, I just wanted to extend our sincerest thanks from the staff, to all of the students, for making the trip so memorable and enjoyable

Their enthusiasm, resilience and vibrant personalities made our lives so much easier and we all enjoyed spending time learning more about them as young people and not just students. We received so many positive comments and compliments - from locals and tourists alike - for their exemplary behaviour and their beautiful singing. They were incredible ambassadors for our school and their families we couldn’t be prouder of them!

We hope they all had a wonderful time and that you all have a restful and peaceful summer break. See you in September! 🇭🇺

UPDATE: We had another plane parked at our stand so we’ve been stuck on the runway. They have now moved so we’ll hopefully be disembarking and going through security and baggage reclaim.

We have boarded the plane and we are waiting to taxi to the runway. Our estimated time of departure is: 19:30 (18:30 GMT) so hopefully we’ll be off soon! 🛫

UPDATE: Students have received a voucher for food and drink and were still waiting to board. Estimated departure is still 17:45 GMT but we’re not too hopeful that this will happen…
