Mersea Island Young Players are a fun loving performing arts group based in West Mersea.

We take children from 7-17, and work with our children on all aspects of the performing arts including acting, dancing and singing.

It was a full family effort from the Tottles with all members of the family dressing up! Pictured here with his fabulous daughter Polly, who played Fizzy.

The kids loved seeing all the audience dressed up - it really added something special to the weekend as we welcomed you all to Fat Sam's Club.

What an amazing (if messy) weekend we had! Thankyou so much to all those that came out and supported these incredible children. I'm sure you'll all agree they were outstanding. A set of very proud leaders here!! ###

Thankyou to everyone who came and supported our wonderful children this weekend. We really couldn't do it without you all!

Our opening night was amazing last night! Thankyou to everyone who came to support this fabulous bunch of children - what an audience you were!
There's still a handful of tickets available today if you want to come and cheer them on - 2:30pm or 7:30pm. Tickets available from the MICA.

OPENING NIGHT!!

Cagey Joe, our resident boxing trainer played by the fabulous Jemima (pictured on the left), is here to determine whether you've got 'it'. Although I can tell you that our cast definitely have! Keep an eye out for her in Act 2, especially her solo song which is just magic!
