This week, Year 4 got out and about as part of our ‘Living Things’ topic in Science. Using a checklist, we explored our school grounds and observed which species of flora and fauna inhabit our local area!

Join us for V in the Park

Join us for V In The Park on Saturday, 27 June from 11am to 5pm for what promises to be a fantastic day of music from Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill and the wider VIAT Community.

This Trust wide celebration of music will bring together more than 500 students from all nine schools across the Valley Invicta Academies Trust. This event will feature items from our fantastic school choir, which will be a great opportunity to showcase our talented children to a wider audience.

We invite families to bring deckchairs, blankets and picnics. Ice cream, drinks, and a selection of street food will also be available to purchase, making it a fantastic day for the whole VIAT Community to enjoy.

Tickets are £6 and can be purchased via MyEVOLVE using the link below. Tickets will also be available to purchase on the door.

Please note that parking on site will be extremely limited, so we encourage visitors to arrive on foot where possible, using the SST entrance at New Cut Road.

This week, Turtle class has been experimenting with electricity! The challenge was simple- using two wires, a battery and a bulb, could they make the bulb light up? Using teamwork and problem-solving skills, we also managed to make a buzzer sound!

SOCCER AID FOR UNICEF IS BACK - we need your help!

ITV is proud to partner with UNICEF for our main fundraising initiative, Soccer Aid. Every pound you raise helps to give children all over the world the best start in life and a chance to grow up safe, healthy and able to play!

UNICEF works with families, communities and trusted partners to create and protect safe spaces for children to play, so they can get the best start in life. We work to protect children from disease and malnutrition and respond in times of crisis, so children can get back to learning when schools are destroyed and grow up happy and healthy, with the space for their imaginations to soar.

As a UNICEF RIGHTS RESPECTING SCHOOL, VIPS Kings Hill will be fundraising with our very own Soccer Aid 2026.
This event will run during the school day of Friday 15th May, with children and staff participating from all year groups.

Please note, this event will not be open to parents. However, we will be posting photos on DOJO.
