On Wednesday, we were honoured to welcome Bishop Paul along with several members of the KCSP Central Team, members of our Governance Committee and the Project Manager of our Flood Project, to celebrate a very special Mass of Thanksgiving and Blessing for our new flood defence works.
It was a wonderful opportunity to give thanks for everyone who has helped to protect our school for future generations. During the celebration, the children confidently explained how our swale, rain garden and sustainable drainage systems work together to protect the school while caring for God's creation. It was a fantastic way to demonstrate how our learning extends beyond the classroom and helps us to understand our responsibility to be good stewards of the world God has entrusted to us.
