Over 10 years science teaching experience and I believe in adapting my teaching practice to meet the needs of my students. Specialises in:
KS3 Science
KS4 Science (Separates and Combined)
KS5 Biology
KS5 Level 3 Pearsons Btec Applied Science Examined units only
I can provide tutoring sessions face to face or remotely dependent on preferences and location.

As my wonderful students finish their exams, slots will become available from the middle June for new students for either immediate start or September start.

Sorry for the radio silence it has been a busy year with the most incredible students. The majority of whom will be starting their GCSE and Alevel examinations in the next few weeks. I am so very proud of them.

This means from mid June slots will start to open up for new students!!

I will also have some capacity for home schooled students in the coming academic year!

Hello,
Just wanted to take this opportunity to reintroduce myself. My name is Rachel, mum to two boys and 3 cats. I gained qualified teacher status in 2010 and have been teaching in schools in Kent until 2020 which after the birth of my second child I decided to set up my own tutoring business.

I am passionate about my job and I love to teach. I try and make my lessons as interactive as possible and I alter my teaching practice to suit my students.

I just wanted to take a moment before Christmas is fully upon us, to say, from the bottom my heart, thank you! Thank you for every like, every share, every message and every lesson.

I am still currently fully booked. However, slots will be becoming available from May/June as this year's examination students complete their exams.

I have started having enquiries and bookings for these slots for when they become available.

Availability update:

Wow what a whirlwind the last few weeks have been. Thank you so much for all the messages and bookings. This post is to say I am now, for the time being, fully booked!

However, if you are looking for a Science tutor or an Alevel biology tutor please feel free to still get in touch as I have a waiting list which you could be added to. This would mean I would get in touch with you before advertising on here if I have slots become suddenly available. I am also hoping I might be able to increase my availability in the near future.

It's Wonky Wednesday as my five year old would say.

If you are thinking of getting in touch, just to let you know before we start any sessions you will be offered a free of charge meeting/ chat with myself.

During that time I can get a feel for what your child needs from tutoring and you can get to know me and how I work. It's also an excellent opportunity for you to ask me any questions you have. You can also see my folder of qualifications and relevant documentation.

Availability update

Good evening everyone and a very happy Saturday to you. Thank you yet again for all the support and it has been fantastic to meet so many new students.

This is just to let you know I have almost reached my full capacity. I only have a few slots left.

Tuesday - 6.45 - 7.45 pm
Thursday - 4-5
Saturday - 11.15 - 12.15.

These slots would be remote teaching unless you live very locally.
