Small Steps Early Years Centre Small Steps Early Years Centre offers a sessional Pre-School and Before and After school care at our Rise and Shine Club catering for children 2-11 years.

Small Steps Early Years Centre was opened in September 2015. Rise and Shine was created in response to ongoing requests from parents whose children have attended Small Steps Day Nursery and Pre-school for the nursery to create a wraparound service for children attending local West Kirby primary schools. In September 2014 Small Steps Rise and Shine was opened in Westbourne Hall West Kirby. To furth

er develop the club we moved to our Early Years Centre on Banks Road in 2015. Small Steps Early Years Centre offers free Sessional Pre-school funded places for 2, 3 and 4 Year old children. The Centre is open from 9.00am to 3.00pm, 38 weeks a year. Small Steps Sessional Pre-school caters for children from two to five years.

Our children had a wonderful time celebrating the arrival of spring through Easter activities! From egg hunts to spring-themed crafts, laughter and creativity filled the air.
The children embraced the spirit of the season, sharing stories and enjoying playful moments that reflected the joy and renewal that spring brings. We loved seeing their excitement as they participated in activities that nurtured curiosity, friendship and the wonders of the changing season.

Last week, the children participated in a variety of activities. They celebrated St Patrick's Day, made the most of the sunny weather, and took a trip to our local park, collecting natural materials along the way. In the classroom, they explored different apparatus, developing a range of new skills.

⭐️Open day today! ⭐️ Do you have some free time on Saturday 7th December to pop in and visit our Montessori nursery. We will be holding an open day for you from 10am till 1.30pm.There will be free mince pies, teas, coffee and an opportunity to have a look around the nursery. Experience the different montessori toys and activities, meet the staff, have a chat with the manager and ask any questions. We are hoping this gives you a chance to recieve an overall feel for this setting and if this is the right nursery for you and your children.
