A massive, warm welcome to all of our brand-new Year 7 students and external Year 12 joiners stepping through our gates tomorrow. We know starting a new school can feel a little nerve-wracking, but you are officially part of our community now, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you'll achieve.

To the rest of our student body, we’ll see you back on site on Thursday as we get the whole school together for the start of term.

🎉 GCSE Results Day at Calday Grange! 🎉

A huge congratulations to all our students receiving their GCSE results today. We are delighted with this year’s results, and every student should be justifiably proud of their achievements.

It was wonderful to see so many nervous faces turn into happy ones as students collected their results. 👏

Our headline measures and progress figures remain strong, reflecting the hard work and commitment of our students and staff.

A heartfelt thank you to all our parents and carers for their support, and to our dedicated staff who work tirelessly to support our students and give them the best possible preparation for their exams.

Many of our students will continue their journey with us in our Sixth Form, while others will move on to follow their chosen pathways. Whatever the future holds, we wish every one of our students the very best of luck and success. 🌟

Wishing all the students at Calday Grange Grammar School the very best of luck as GCSE results day arrives on Thursday.

You’ve put in the hard work, shown commitment and done everything you can — now it’s time to be proud of that achievement. Remember, results are not everything and one set of grades does not define who you are or what you can go on to achieve.

Whatever Thursday brings, celebrate your successes, learn from any disappointments, and look ahead to the exciting opportunities that come next. And if anyone needs support, advice or simply someone to talk to, we’ll be on hand to help.

🎓 A Level Results Day at Calday Grange Grammar School! 🎓

It has been wonderful to see so many happy faces at Calday Grange Grammar School today as our A Level students collected their results.

There have been some incredible personal achievements, and we are incredibly proud of every one of our students. 👏

Our overall school results remain strong, with an average grade of B, while 28 students achieved three or more A-A grades* — a fantastic achievement! 🌟

Headteacher Stephen Gray said:

“I am proud of our students and would like to thank our dedicated staff, as well as the parents and carers who have worked with us to make this happen. I am delighted with the overall school results and our outcomes remain strong.”

Our students are now heading off to their chosen destinations, including universities, gap years and degree-level apprenticeships.

Whatever path they take, we wish all of our students every success and happiness for the future. Well done, everyone! 🎉

🏅 Double Gold for Calday! 🏅

A huge congratulations to Calday Grange Grammar School students Jay and Luke Hussain, who both won gold at the England Athletics Championships in Bedford.

🥇 Jay (14) claimed the Under-16 300m hurdles title, adding the national crown to the English Schools title he won just two weeks earlier.

🥇 Luke (16) won the Under-18 400m, completing an impressive comeback after setbacks in recent competitions.

The brothers’ achievement of winning gold in different age groups at the same national championships is a remarkable accomplishment and a proud moment for their family, coaches and the school.

With Luke aiming for a US athletics scholarship after completing his A-Levels next year, both brothers have exciting futures ahead in athletics.

Congratulations, Jay and Luke, on an outstanding achievement. You have done the Calday community proud! 👏💙💛

🇿🇦 Calday South Africa Tour 2026 – That’s a Wrap! 🇿🇦

What a tour it’s been!

From outstanding rugby and football, to unforgettable experiences, incredible scenery and friendships that will last a lifetime, South Africa has given us memories we’ll cherish forever.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing staff. Thank you for giving up your time, energy and holidays to coach, organise, support and care for every student throughout the tour. Your dedication behind the scenes made this incredible experience possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

A special thank you also to Plumstead, Macron Wrexham and Macron Merseyside for your fantastic support before and throughout the tour. Your backing has been invaluable and is greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

Finally, thank you to our hosts, our families back home and, most importantly, our players. Every single one of you represented Calday with pride, passion, respect and sportsmanship, both on and off the rugby pitch and football field. You have been exceptional ambassadors for the school.

The tour may be over, but the memories, friendships and experiences will stay with us forever.
