It’s lovely having the children back after the Summer holidays and welcoming our new starters too. We’ve spent the morning at the park with our friends and then came home and made some Berry Banana Ice Pops to cool us down !🍦

We’ve had a lovely morning at Church Farm visiting the animals and riding on the tractors!

We’ve been really enjoying the weather over the last few weeks and have been spending lots of time outdoors. The children have been planting sunflowers, making potions in the mud kitchen and collecting flowers on our daily walks to make their own flower arrangements. We’ve had lots of trips to the park and beach and we are expecting an exciting delivery at the end of the week too!☀️

Our lockdown project is complete at last! Just some prints still to go on the walls. I’m sure it won’t look this tidy by 9.30am on Monday! Looking forward to seeing all of the children next week and hearing all about Christmas 😊

The children watched the CBeebies short animation ‘Poppies’ during our 2 minutes silence today. We had a walk to the War Memorial to look at the poppies and then came home to finish off the wreath that we’ve been working on together.

We’ve been learning all about Diwali, The Festival of Light today. We’ve been using our homemade playdough to make diya lamps and have been drawing Rangoli patterns with chalk. Our older children have been learning Bollywood dance in school, we can’t wait to watch their dance show later! 🪔
