🚒🚒 FIRE ENGINE VISIT 🚒🚒

Today the children enjoyed a visit from a local fire engine.

🪓They learnt about the different tools they use & even had a go at knocking over a cone with the hose! 💦

👩🏻‍🚒We then went inside wear the firefighters kindly volunteered Steph to wear all their gear! 🥵

🎓Pre-school Graduation 🎓

It’s always a sad time of year saying goodbye to our families and children who are leaving to start school.

🪄🎉For our graduation party this year, we had Magic Marty! He was brilliant! The children were in awe of him and were belly laughing at his sillyness and jokes! 🪄🎉

👨🏻‍🎓👩🏻‍🎓We then held a small ceremony with parents, where we spoke about each child and their achievements and enjoyments of nursery👩🏻‍🎓👨🏻‍🎓

🎁🧸The children received a certificate, personalised teddy bear, pencil case & starting school sticker book! 🎁🧸

We can finally share our recent Ofsted Inspection! ✨

We are incredibly proud of how far we have come with the new leadership team that started in September.

This report reflects the dedication, hard work and commitment of our staff, the enthusiasm of our children, and the ongoing support of our families and wider community.

We know there are areas that we can continue to work on and we are already making huge steps in achieving this.

We will continue to strive to make Treehouse Nursery the best possible setting it can be!

We would like to thank all the parents and children who took part in Usbourne Books ready steady listen, where children were sponsored to listen to books.
Thanks to the wonderful sponsorship money we received, we have been able to order over £300 of new books, which should arrive in the next couple of weeks.
We have books coming about space, colours, shapes, animals, life cycles, habitats … to name but a few.
All the children who took part will receive a certificate and bookmark.
Developing a love of books at an early age is extremely important for future learning - and we hope you all continue reading 😊

We have been very busy the past couple of weeks.

🦔We had a special visit from Henry & Harry Hedgehogs. The children were able to share their knowledge and their caring nature.🦔

The children have been moving like different animals in the paint to see what marks they left behind. The favourites were penguin and crab!🐧🦀

We used a variety of different sized circle items to make patterns with paint.⭕️🫟

The children used their mathematical knowledge to use the dice to add the correct number of lights to the wire until it was all full of lights! 🎲💡

At Treehouse, we are always evolving our environment to reflect the needs, interests, and development of our children.

We are excited to introduce our new sensory area — a calm and engaging space designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning. Through colours, lights, textures, and climbing opportunities, children can safely discover and develop their senses in a fun and nurturing environment.

There is still more to come, and we can’t wait to continue building this special space for our children to enjoy and grow in every day. 💛

🐣🐥 Chick update 🐥🐣

6 chicks successfully hatched and what beautiful colours they all are!
2 black
2 light grey
1 dark grey
1 yellow

The children will be helping us look after them over the next week. This means learning how to clean out their cage, refill their food and water.
