What a wonderful time we’ve had celebrating Easter at Tender Troops! 💛

Our children created beautiful Easter bonnets at home with the help of their parents — thank you to all our families for your creativity and support! 🎩✨

We then had a lovely Easter Bonnet Parade, where the children proudly showed off their amazing designs. It was full of smiles, confidence, and excitement! 🐰🌼

❄️ Exploring Nature – Snow Fun Indoors at Tender Troops! ⛄

Although it was too slippery to play outside safely, we brought the snow inside so our children could still experience the magic of winter up close. 🧤🪣

✨ Learning Through Snow Play
This sensory-rich experience supported a variety of early learning goals, including:

🔍 Exploring textures and temperatures through touch
🧠 Developing language and communication by describing how the snow feels
🤲 Strengthening fine motor skills while scooping, moulding, and pouring
💬 Encouraging curiosity and asking questions about nature and weather
👫 Building social skills through shared play and teamwork

The children were so excited and curious — and we loved hearing their comments like “It’s cold and fluffy!” and “It’s melting!” 🧊
