Reading and stories are vital for a developing child. They learn so much from a story, build bonds, share ideas, recognition, familiarity, new vocabulary and so much more.
Spending 5 minutes a day sharing a story gives a child a deeper understanding if the world.

This term we have provided opportunities for the children to explore and learn about thd Caterpillar life cycle.
We looked and books and learnt new vocabulary. This inspired the children to go in the garden and explore what insects they could find.
They were extremely happy to have found a caterpillar and named it "Mya"
