School will be OPEN as normal tomorrow, Monday 12th January. 😃

To support families in arriving safely, we will be keeping the school registers open later than usual tomorrow morning.

Please take extra care when travelling.

‼️❄️ SCHOOL CLOSED - Friday 9th January 2026.

Due to the amber weather warning currently in place and the ongoing adverse conditions, we have taken the decision to close the school tomorrow, Friday 9th January.

This is in the interest of the safety of our pupils, families, and staff.

This decision has not been taken lightly and has been made in agreement with other local schools.

All pupils have access to a range of learning activities to complete at home during the closure. These include online learning platforms such as Times Table Rock Stars, Numbots, Lexia, and Mathletics. Please also encourage children to practise the spellings sent out before Christmas and continue reading their school reading books. Having said this, lots of play in the snow is definitely recommended!

We appreciate that school closures can be inconvenient and we thank you for your understanding. By notifying you this evening, we hope you are able to make any necessary arrangements for tomorrow and avoid any unsafe or unnecessary journeys.

Unfortunately due to the bad weather School is closed today (Tuesday 6th January). The school site has been cleared but the snow as recovered it. Footpaths and roads outside of school are unsafe. We have made this decision for the safety of staff and children.
