Today has been full of colour and spots to help support Children In Need.

Our nursery staff gems wore spotty clothes or pyjamas and also took part in lots of activities such as; cake decorating, yummy biscuit art, and some playful tuff tray adventures.

Today we celebrated Black History Month at the nursery and it was a beautiful journey through colors, music, flavors, and dance. We honoured the past, celebrated the present, and danced towards a brighter future! ✨

Our gems have been exploring healthy foods at the nursery! With lots of fruits and veggies in these amazing tuff / water trays, it has been a blast!

We also dipped into a rainbow of colours and textures with fruit and veggie printing, turning nutritious bites into vibrant art.

The fascination with vehicles continues as our curious children delved into another fun vehicle themed tuff tray!

From building magnificent train tracks to steering their tiny boats in make-believe ponds and discovering different textures, our young explorers definitely know how to rev up the fun and make every day at the nursery an unforgettable adventure!

Sticking to children’s interests we have continued to base our activities around vehicles this week!

From futuristic spaceships to speedy race cars and graceful boats gliding on the water, our little explorers have been on a thrilling ride through the wonders of transportation!

These amazing tuff trays and activities are a snapshot of what our children have been enjoying for the past few days thanks to the incredible power of teamwork!

By working hand in hand with our lovely parents, we found out a little bit more about the children’s interests outside of nursery and incorporated into their nursery activities - first one being cars and vehicles!

Tuff tray tales came alive and our little gems stepped into an enchanting world facing the big bad wolf's huffs and puffs in this much loved three little pigs themed tuff tray!

Check out this "Rain, Rain, Go Away" tuff tray setup that our children loved. Inspired by the weather we’ve had recently! Playful raindrops, and endless imagination made it a joyous activity!

Last week, we threw an amazing graduation bash for our wonderful children in Emeralds.

We had a super fun party to celebrate them finishing their early journey with us at Genius Gems and getting ready for their next big adventure - big school!

Seeing them grow and learn at Genius Gems has been a joyous adventure, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for these bright stars. We are extremely proud of each and every one of our children and wish them all the luck in the future. We know they will continue to shine brightly like the precious Emeralds they are, illuminating the path to a future filled with endless possibilities ❤️

Our little ones have discovered a world of joy through our nursery rhyme themed activities. From gently rowing our imaginary boat to merrily singing along with Old Mac Donald, their laughter and smiles are simply priceless!

We’ve been learning all about Dental Hygiene!

During these activities little hands eagerly scrubbed away the ‘dirt’ from a giant set of teeth, as well as laminated pictures of pearly whites!

Some of the children told our practitioners that the teeth were “dirty” and said we needed “more” toothpaste to make them clean and then said “done” when the teeth were all clean.

During this activity the children were able to point to their own teeth and tongue as well the set of teeth infront of them. To make it even more fun, we sang our toothbrushing song together, helping our little ones establish a great routine. Sparkling smiles and healthy habits are blossoming in our nursery!

🎶 🌍 Celebrating World Music Day! 🌍🎵

Today we filled our little hearts with joy and rhythm as we immersed ourselves in the magic of music!

From singing and dancing to our favourite nursery rhymes to discussing instruments and the sounds they make, we created melodies and discovered the beauty of sound. Our little gems even made and decorated their own rain makers, adding a sprinkle of creativity to our musical celebration!

Father's Day Fun in the Nursery! 🎉

We celebrated with a fantastic picnic, inviting all the dads for an afternoon filled with joy and laughter. From mini basketball to play dough, colouring and various sensory tuff trays, there were endless activities for our dads and their little ones to bond over.

Together, they also enjoyed some delicious picnic mini bites and even indulged in some refreshing ice lollies, making the most of the beautiful weather. It was a heartwarming afternoon and lots of unforgettable memories were made with their little champions!

Our children have been loving their weekly dose of Spanish lessons with the lovely Nuria from

Nuria makes each session fun by teaching the basic words / phrases & numbers, reading stories, playing games and talking about feelings!

King Charles Coronation Day! 🤴🏼

The excitement of the king's coronation was felt in the nursery throughout the week!

On Friday, the children had a blast dressing up as princesses/princes or in the colours red white or blue and getting stuck into lots of fun activities including; decorating their very own royal crowns, sensory tuff trays, biscuit decorating, and even did a spot of face painting.

To top it all off our amazing nursery chef Jayne even prepared a special lunch of fish, chips and peas, along with some delicious cupcakes… how delightful 😍

It truly was a day fit for a king - and his littlest fans!

Our little frog hunters had a hopping great time on the hunt for speckled frogs in the sensory tray. Ribbit, ribbit!

They enjoyed exploring the jelly using their hands, feet and also through having a sneaky little taste 😝

During this activity we also sang “the 5 little speckled frogs” and the babies showed us their excitement as they smiled and moved their bodies to the music 🎶

Better late than never, but the memories we made on National Storytelling Week 2023 are timeless! ✨

We delved into the world of children's stories and songs with lots of story-themed activities and some role play, which our little ones loved.

From different tuff trays to beloved tales, we journeyed through many classics like 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt', 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar', and 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea', 'The Three Little Pigs', and many more.

What a magical week it was!
