The Word of the Week is Acceptance!
Acceptance means welcoming people as they are and treating everyone with respect and kindness, just as Jesus showed us 💛
As we celebrate the World Cup, acceptance is a great value to reflect on, as it brings nations together in unity and celebration ⚽🤝🌎
Think about how you can be more inclusive and appreciative of others this week, especially those who are different from you.

The Word of the Week is Eucharist.
Today, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, meaning the “Body of Christ”. On this feast, we honour the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
As the Catechism reminds us, the Eucharist is truly an act of thanksgiving to God (CCC 1329). The more time we spend with the Eucharist, the more we come to know God, recognise Him, and see the blessings He gives us.

The word Eucharist itself means thanksgiving - so this week, take time to reflect on what you are grateful for. 🙏✨

On Sunday, the Church celebrated its birthday at Pentecost 🔥🕊️ when the Holy Spirit came down upon the disciples and filled them with courage to go out and share the Good News, just as Jesus had called them to at the Ascension.

As we now enter Ordinary Time, the longest season of the Church year, we are invited into a time of missionary discipleship where we are called to live out our faith in everyday life, showing love, kindness and truth to those around us 🌿🌱

The word of the week is Communication 🗣🤳💭

This week marks the time between the Ascension and Pentecost - the period when the disciples waited and prayed together.
Communication is essential to the mission Jesus left us.🌎
Think about how you already communicate this message in your daily life and ask for the fruits of the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen your communication with others 🙏

The Word of the Week is Example ✨💛

Jesus is the greatest example of how to live a life of love, service and forgiveness.

This week, as we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord, we are reminded that Jesus is fully God, returning to the Father. He calls us to continue His mission here on earth by following His example and the teachings He has given us.

Take time to reflect on Jesus’ example in Scripture and how He treats others. Think about how you can follow in His footsteps as a disciple.

The Word of the Week is Witness ✝️
Being a witness of Jesus means sharing the hope and joy we have in Him through our words and actions.
During Eastertide, we hear how the risen Jesus appeared to His disciples and sent them out to share the Good News.
Where do you see Jesus at work in your life—and how can you share that with others this week? ✨

The word of the week is Vocation!

The word vocation comes from the Latin vocare, meaning “to call.” 📞

The Church believes that God has a special calling for each and every one of us.

On Good Shepherd Sunday, and throughout this Vocations Week, we pray for all vocations, especially to religious life, and reflect on how God may be calling us to use our unique gifts to serve others 🤍🐑

Have you taken time this week to listen to His voice? 👂🙏

The Word of the Week is Faith ✨

Faith isn’t always easy.
It means trusting God even when we don’t have all the answers or can’t see what comes next. In the Easter season, we’re reminded that even Jesus’ disciples struggled to recognise him at times. Faith grows when we stay open, take time to reflect, and allow God to walk with us in the everyday moments of life.

The Word of the week is Mercy ❤️💙

On the second Sunday of Eastertide, we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday - a beautiful reminder of God’s immense love and forgiveness for every one of us.

No matter our mistakes or how far we feel we’ve wandered, His mercy is always bigger. His arms remain open, ready to welcome us home.

Let’s make an extra effort to be the face of that mercy for others this week. Keep an eye out for those feeling worried or anxious about returning to school after half-term 🏫

Happy Easter!
He is risen, Alleluia! 🌅✝️🪨🌷

We are still celebrating Easter in a special way this week through the Octave of Easter – the first eight days of the 50‑day Easter season, where every day is celebrated like Easter Sunday and the daily readings proclaim the appearances of the risen Jesus to His disciples.

Easter is the heart of our faith, celebrating Jesus’ victory over death and the promise of new life for us all. 💛
And the celebration doesn’t stop here – there are still six more weeks of Easter joy to come as we journey through Eastertide together! 🌸
