Pushing Owen to go for the Koten division, we had a plan. Go big or go home! Could a 9 year old do a credible Rantai, under pressure at competition on the World Stage? Could we even make the finals with Kakioku Shodan? I would have loved another month to fine tune - but I'm so proud of his performance.

MEMBERS please read

Our training fees are low. They can be kept low by a high membership and fiscal responsibility. I rely upon each member to communicate there intentions with payment.

I'm about to set the budget for the 2026/27 year. It is (and has always been) policy for those who want alternative payments (reduced, weekly or waived fees) to apply before the term starts.

[This will now include students who train more than 3 sessions per week and from January 2027 you will have to seek school permission*]

This morning I had to remove students who have taken for granted the generosity of the school.

So...
If you train without asking for fee remittance

Or
Train in classes you havent asked permission to attend

Then you may lose
🥷additional sessions
🥷fight class
🥷competition and/or equipment support

in extreme cases - termination of membership.

*2026/27 legacy members can train whenever they like.
