I’m looking forward to running creative music workshops as part of the Lady Bay Arts Trail this weekend, where we will be making music together, trying new ideas out and giving Lady Bay its own soundtrack.

Whether you have experience of playing music or not, these workshops are for you: either bring along your own instrument, or pick one up at the session and have a go. No prior experience required!

The sessions last an hour, and run from 1:15pm and 2:15pm on Saturday, and 1pm & 2pm on Sunday. You can book your sessions using the Arts Trail link here:

It would be lovely to have a mix of people who have played music before, and those who are new to it!

The workshops will be in the Reading Hut in the Primary School playground.

The Lady Bay Music Academy teaches piano to adults and children across a wide range of backgrounds and experience from across Nottingham and Rushcliffe.
There are still a few after-school slots available, and there is some availability for adult learners during weekday daytimes. I teach absolute beginners through to more experienced players, across a range of styles from pop and rock to Jazz and classical.
I also teach songwriting and composition to a number students as part of their piano development.

Hello all,
Lady Bay Music Academy is now offering dual piano lessons for parent and child, so you can both learn together; the parent will learn simple patterns to accompany the child’s practice so you can make beautiful music together as you both learn! As with all our lessons, you’ll receive follow-up videos which help to support practice in between lessons.
