We have been threading beads onto sparkly pipe cleaners to make Christmas stars to hang onto the Childminder Christmas Tree. The older children have found the letters in their names to thread on.

We had a wonderful time visiting Trent Bridge Care Home and meeting the delightful residents. We enjoyed sharing homemade cookies and juice with them, chatting and hearing their stories and doing some craft and colouring.

Their roof garden is amazing - we could see Nottingham Castle, the Christmas big wheel and even further. And the whole of the cricket ground!

We're looking forward to our next visit and are very grateful to them letting us visit and join in with the activities. Thank you to Charlie and Karen.

Armed with more ideas (and lots more on order to help me deliver outdoor activities.) Thank you so much to Caz's Crew and Katy for the wonderful forest school training at Rushcliffe Country Park. We had a amazing, inspiring time there, and also enjoyed feeding the birds, the sensory area, a picnic and the park. Topped off by a bus trip there and back, with a special treat (for my 11 month old mindee) of seeing a grab loader lorry delivering building materials!
