📚🌟 We’re incredibly proud of our Year 6 children! 🌟📚
Today saw the release of this year’s Year 6 SATs results, and we couldn’t be prouder of what our children have achieved.
At West Boldon Primary School, we have always believed that we are not an exam factory. SATs are only a small part of what makes a child successful. Our aim has always been to develop kind, confident, resilient and well-rounded young people through everything we do and the values that underpin our school.
That said, we also believe in giving every child the opportunity to achieve their very best, and this Year 6 cohort has certainly done that.
Our mainstream Year 6 children achieved:
⭐ 83% Combined Expected Standard in Reading, Writing and Maths
📖 92% Expected Standard in Reading
➕ 83% Expected Standard in Maths
✍️ 92% Expected Standard in Writing
These are fantastic results, but what makes us even prouder is the determination, resilience and hard work shown by our children throughout the year.
A huge thank you must also go to our incredible staff, whose commitment and dedication have helped every child reach their potential, and to our parents and carers for the support and encouragement they have given along the way. Working together really does make a difference.
Well done, Year 6! We know you are more than a set of SATs results, and we have every confidence that you will continue to flourish and achieve great things as you begin the next exciting chapter at secondary school. We couldn’t be prouder of you all! 💙🎉
