π𧑠Pumpkin carving fun in the toddler room! π§‘π
Our little ones have been busy exploring pumpkins and sharing their own brilliant ideas for what they wanted to create! From Spider-Man, bats and taxis to happy faces, we had some very creative little minds at work!
Activities like this are a fantastic way to develop the children's fine motor skills as they explore different tools and materials (with adult support, of course!). They also help build their mathematical skills as we talk about shapes, sizes, counting and comparing pumpkins, as well as their understanding of the world as they explore the pumpkins, feel the different textures and learn about Halloween traditions. ππ
