Christmas is upon us. Here is a quick breakdown of all the Christmas events of Carey (church). It would be lovely to see you and your families over Christmas.

This Saturday is our SPLAT, SIZZLE, POP! Christmas Party. Perfect fun for the whole family... and an opportunity to share in festive food this Christmas season!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Splat, Sizzle, Pop! from 3:30 till 6pm.
If you're looking for something to entertain the family in this super cold weather, this may be the activity for you.

Next weekend is Splat, Sizzle, Pop! 3:30 till 6pm on Saturday 5th November.
We will be looking at all things Autmn and festive. There will be crafts, games, stories and a hot meal for everyone, adult and children, to share in together at the end.
We would love to see everyone there! Even if your little one is only a baby or toddler, we will have an area especially for them.

This time next week it will be Carey's light party!

This is a childrens halloween alternative. It has all the fun of a halloween celebration: the treats, games and fancy dress, but in a safer and warmer environment.
This year there will be a bouncy castle, crafts, adult and childrens food, party games and competitions to be won!
This is a parentally supervised event, but don't worry there will be plenty for you to join in with!

This weekend Carey Church is hosting a family-friendly movie night. There will be all the fun of the cinema: the treats, the immersive film experience. But best of all... it's completely free and the children can have a little run around whenever they feel they need to get their wiggles out.
Doors open at 5:30 (the same ones you come in for nursery) and the film will start promptly at 6pm.

As we enter into the next academic year, we just wanted to draw your attention to an exciting new event starting at Carey this weekend!
On Saturday 3rd September, from 3:30 till 6pm, the church is running something called Splat, Sizzle, Pop!
This event is fun for the whole family, and we ask that parents or guardians stay to supervise their children. There will be games, crafts, activities and science experiments to entertain the children and there will be a hot meal for everyone in attendance.

We would love to see you there!

If you can not make it this Saturday, don't worry! There will be a Splat, Sizzle, Pop! every first Saturday of the month going forward. These dates will be:
Saturday 1st October
Saturday 5th November
Saturday 3rd December

Yesterday was a leaf soup making kind of day ☺️

This came from a child's interest of role play and collecting and adding leaves into the mud kitchen. The practitioner extended this learning by adding resources to enable the children to think critically, make links to their learning and enjoy what they achieved through play.
