It’s a picture of all of us — the Acorn team! It honestly couldn’t be more perfect. It reminds us why we do what we do together as a team, creating a safe, happy and loving place for every child to learn, grow and be themselves.

🎓✨ What a truly beautiful and unforgettable Graduation Day! ✨🎓

Yesterday we celebrated something so incredibly special… the end of one wonderful chapter and the beginning of an exciting new adventure.

Every laugh, every cuddle, every achievement, every milestone, every friendship and every precious memory has helped shaped the incredible little people they have become. It has been the greatest privilege to be part of your journey, to watch you grow, learn and flourish each and every day.

To our wonderful families, thank you for trusting us with your precious children. It has been an honour to share these early years with you, and we will treasure the memories forever.

To our amazing Class of 2026… never stop believing in yourselves. Be brave, be kind, be curious and always remember that you will forever be a part of the Acorn family. We know you are going to achieve incredible things, and although our hearts are full of pride, they are also a little broken as we say goodbye.

Thank you for making yesterday so magical. There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughter and of course more than a few tears. ❤️

Graduation Day is finally here! 🎓✨
Today we celebrate our amazing little graduates as they prepare for their next big adventure… Primary School! 📚🍎

🎒👕 School Uniform Transition Role Play Shop 👕🎒

Today has been a very bittersweet day at Acorn as we set up our School Uniform Role Play Shop for our children who are getting ready to leave us for their new schools. 💛

Watching our amazing children proudly try on uniforms, pack school bags and role play their new routines is such a lovely way to support their transition. These activities help build confidence, reduce anxieties and make the move to “big school” feel a little more familiar and exciting🥰🥰

While our hearts feel emotional knowing many of our children will soon be moving on, moments like these remind us how important it is to help them feel prepared, secure and ready for their next adventure.

We are so proud of each and every one of them and cannot wait to see them spread their wings. 💙

💦🌈 Water Week at Acorn! 🌈💦

Splashing, smiling, and making magical memories under the rainbow! 🌈💙

Our children have had the best time cooling off with exciting water play, filled with laughter, exploration, learning, and endless fun. Experiences like these help create joyful memories while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and teamwork.

There’s nothing better than seeing so many happy faces enjoying every moment—it’s exactly why our children love being at Acorn! ❤️

🍦☀️ A Real Ice Cream Parlour Experience!

As part of our Seaside and Holidays topic, our children loved visiting our very own ice cream station! They chose their favourite flavour, decided whether they wanted a wafer cone or a waffle cone, and scooped their own delicious ice cream.

There were lots of smiles and happy faces as everyone enjoyed their tasty treats. One child exclaimed, “Acorn is the best!” while enjoying their ice cream, and another said, “It’s delicious!” 🥰🍦

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to make their own choices, develop independence and confidence, and create happy memories together❤️❤️❤️

A huge thank you to all of our amazing parents who have kindly brought in refreshing treats to help keep both the children and staff cool during this hot weather! ☀️🍦💙

Your generosity and thoughtfulness have been so appreciated by everyone. The children have loved enjoying the cool treats, and the staff have been incredibly grateful too. These kind gestures have made such a difference during the heat and have certainly brought lots of smiles all around.

We are so thankful for your continued support, kindness, and generosity. It means so much to us and helps make these hot summer days much more enjoyable for everyone.

Happy Father’s Day to our daddies, grandads and all the very special men in our children's lives! 💙

We hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and enjoyed receiving the special gifts that your children carefully handpicked from our Father’s Day Gift Shop. The children had so much fun choosing the perfect presents for their loved ones and worked incredibly hard on their Father's Day cards, proudly practising and writing their own names.

We hope your day was filled with love, laughter and lots of treasured memories.

To help kick off the World Cup, we have set up our very own tuff tray football game, complete with flags from all the countries competing in the tournament! ⚽🌍

We would like to wish England lots of luck for their opening game tonight and are enjoying hearing about the countries our children will be cheering on throughout the competition 🏆
