A little mud, a little water and lots of creativity! 🌸

Our Owls had so much fun mixing mud and water to create their own natural paint, before decorating their pictures with beautiful flowers.

A wonderfully messy way to explore textures, creativity and the world around them! 🤎

There’s something special about building a den together! 🏕️

Our Owls have been busy using their imaginations, working together and getting creative as they built their own den. A simple activity that encourages problem-solving, teamwork and plenty of fun along the way! 💚

Clay is full of possibilities! 🤲

The children at Meadow View enjoyed the freedom to shape, mould and create whatever their imaginations came up with. From simple shapes to completely original creations, it was wonderful to see each child make the clay their own.💭

Why choose an outdoor nursery?

Because childhood was never meant to be spent sitting still.

At an outdoor nursery, children are given the freedom to explore, discover, investigate and learn through real experiences. From muddy puddles and bug hunts to building, climbing, planting, creating and watching the seasons change, every day brings a new opportunity to learn.

Outdoor learning supports so much more than physical development. It helps children to build confidence, independence, resilience and problem solving skills, while encouraging them to take safe risks and begin trusting their own abilities.

Running, balancing, digging, pouring, carrying and climbing all help to develop strength, coordination and gross motor skills, while activities such as collecting leaves, planting seeds and exploring natural materials support fine motor development too.

Being outdoors also creates endless opportunities for communication and language. Children talk about what they can see, ask questions, make discoveries together, create imaginative games and learn new vocabulary naturally through play.

We believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when children have the space, freedom and encouragement to discover things for themselves.

The outdoors isn’t just somewhere we go to play it is one of our greatest classrooms.

🔥 There's nothing quite like enjoying something you've made yourself!

Our Holiday Club children have been getting hands-on this week by making their own bread before toasting it over the campfire. From mixing the ingredients to watching it cook over the flames, it was a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, work together and enjoy the simple pleasure of sharing food they had made themselves.

Experiences like these are what make Holiday Club at Meadow View so memorable, giving children the chance to explore, create and embrace the great outdoors.

🧸 What a wonderful time we had at our Squirrels' Teddy Bears' Picnic!

A huge thank you to all of our Squirrels' families who joined us for our Teddy Bears' Picnic. It was wonderful to see everyone spending quality time together, sharing stories, enjoying the activities and making special memories with their little ones.

These moments mean so much to us, as they give families the chance to be part of their children's nursery journey and celebrate the friendships and experiences that make Meadow View such a special place. 💛

🦉 Our Owls have been getting wonderfully creative at Meadow View!

The children carefully cut up our beautiful sunflowers before mixing the petals, leaves, and stems together to create their very own magical flower potions. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and plenty of imaginative play as the children explored different textures, colours, and scents from nature.

What a lovely way to make the most of our garden while inspiring curiosity and imagination! 🌼

And just like that… our preschoolers are off to school. 💛

Some of these wonderful children have been with us since they were babies, making today especially emotional. It has been a privilege to watch them grow, learn and flourish.

We are so proud of every single one of you and know you will thrive in your next adventure.

Good luck, Class of 2026. You’ll always be part of the Meadow View family. 💚
