Services for Young People is offering ‘Get September Ready’ sessions throughout the summer to help Year 11 students feel more confident and prepared for their next steps after school. The informal sessions are particularly beneficial for young people who have been out of education, are home-educated, or have special educational needs and disabilities, including those with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Brand new workshop - Encouraging independence in Neurodivergent Young People (Ages 8-18)

Neurodivergent young people often need extra support to build essential life skills like communication, organisation, problem-solving, resilience, and self-regulation.

In this free online workshop, you'll gain practical strategies and tools to help boost their confidence, support their development, and empower their long-term independence.

The workshop will take place online on Thursday, 20th March at 10am-11.30am and is free to attend.

🚨🚨 2024 BOOKING OPEN - Educational Psychology Consultations 🚨🚨

This will involve a consultation meeting with qualified Educational Psychologist, Susan Brooks.

Each consultation will be 45 minutes and is tailored to the needs of each individual child. Time will be spent speaking with you as a parent/carer about your child's needs.

Parents/carers will receive strategies and an action plan specific to their child.

Please note: this appointment is for parent/carers only, we ask that children do not attend.

Appointments will take place in Stanstead Abbots, Ware.
