We have been busy celebrating Chinese New Year. The children have watched ceebeebies Chinese children celebrating. We read Peppa Pig Chinese New Year book and like the children in the story opened our fortune cookies. Lots of arts and crafts making Chinese red envelopes, lanterns and colouring dragon pictures. The children were role playing with the play kitchen turned into a Chinese restaurant. Lots of opportunities to learn about other countries traditions.
