People who help us! The Surgery was open today! The doctors and nurses made sure no-one was left waiting! All those needing help, teddies and staff were seen promptly! We have been learning new words like stethoscope and otoscope too! Of course we also had to write and fill out prescriptions and forms. Well done children!

We have been talking about people who help us and we decided that the children themselves, were great helpers today! They had a wonderful afternoon! It started with one child feeling full of energy! So we all began to build a circuit, each child helping to place the equipment. We had stepping stones, round mats, balance beams and finally a very tricky "seesaw" beam! One child exclaimed "I like this playground!"
As the time went on we created tunnels and even got out tents. It all ended with one of our children deciding to have feast! Chairs were placed around the tables and they gathered there together!

The children are fascinated by the caterpillars and butterflies!

We hope you are all enjoying the weather!! We look forward to seeing you next week!

Worth watching the award winning SPACE Hertfordshire charity on the BBC, who provide so much valuable support to many.
We’re so excited to share that SPACE Hertfordshire features in Episode 3 of the new BBC documentary series following Natalie Cassidy as she explores the realities of health and social care across the UK.
During the episode, Natalie joins SPACE trainer Chris for an autism awareness session before visiting one of our therapeutic allotment sessions to meet families and see the difference understanding, connection and early support can make for neurodivergent children and young people.
Karen Spencer, CEO of SPACE Hertfordshire, said: “We were delighted to welcome Natalie to SPACE and share more about autism and neurodiversity. We hope her visit helps shine a light on both the challenges families face and the positive difference understanding support can make.”
A huge thank you to Natalie and the BBC team for helping share the stories of the 11,000+ families we support across Hertfordshire every year.
