Mrs Charlesworth recently attended the 2026 Historical Association Conference in Newcastle: ‘Networking with other teachers and experts offered fresh perspectives on how to make history more meaningful, diverse and challenging, whilst remaining accessible and inclusive for our students’. The History department are looking forward to putting these new insights into practice.

Historic win for Ridgeway Academy ! Our u14s have made history by securing the county plate for the first time ever!

Huge congrats to our incredible girls who smashed it against tough opponents and kept fighting right till the end !
