Calling all Musiclab Students,

Following on from our first two-hour adult jam session on Sunday, 19th of January, which went down a storm! We are pleased to announce the second of our two-hour adult jam sessions on Sunday, 9th of February.

Starting from 4:00PM and finishing at 6:00PM, the opportunity to jam, network and socialise with the other students here at Farm Factory Studios under the expert guidance of a Musiclab tutor will arise again. The cost of each session is £25.00 per participant.

Snapped yesterday at our Musiclab adult jam session yesterday evening, we find ourselves talking about jamming more than playing! Isn’t that how most rehearsals go?

As we approach the end of our Autumn teaching term and wish all of our lovely students, parents and carers a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year, we know that this is a charitable time of year, and we’d like to share something with you.

Our lovely tutor and academy administrator Troy is going to be taking part running in the London Landmarks Half-Marathon next year on the 6th of April 2025 on behalf of Lost Chord UK, a fantastic charity that does so much to bring music to those who are elderly or disabled.

Double whammy, hot off the heels of our Adult and Junior Student Performance on Sunday 15th of December at The Hertford Corn Exchange, brilliant performances from all of our students involved and a testament to the hard work you put in during your lessons and rehearsals, if you have any photos or videos you took yourselves share them in the comments!

A new addition to our tuition offering that I'm sure many of you will find an exciting and fun way to sharpen up your ensemble and improvisational skills, meet other like-minded musicians and who knows...the very future of music could be started in one of our rehearsal rooms here at Farm Factory Studios and what a story that would be to tell!

We will be hosting the first of our new two-hour jam sessions on Sunday 12th and Sunday 26th of January with a plan to make this a regular occurrence.

Starting from 4:00PM and finishing at 6:00PM, you will have the opportunity to jam, network and socialise with the other students here at Farm Factory Studios under the expert guidance of a Musiclab tutor. The cost of each session will be £25.00 per participant.

As we’re halfway through the week, we think it’s best to remind everyone how our academy facilities are also a Rockschool official exam centre, it’s an honour to be assisting the next generation of young musicians, our tutors are experienced in handling graded content from Rockschool, Trinity etc. so feel free to speak to them via the LINK!

A nice and tidy teaching room, the perfect way to round off the first half of the Autum term here at The Musiclab! We’d like to wish all of our students an enjoyable half-term break and we’d love to hear what you’ve been working on in the meantime!
