As part of our partnership working with Invisible Walls, we’re pleased to invite professionals across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire to the Beyond the Walls Conference, hosted by Invisible Walls at Bedford Academy.

Many children affected by a family member’s imprisonment remain unseen and unheard. Even when we know, do we always feel confident about how best to support them?

Spaces available on our untold stories -supporting children with a parent in prison training. This training is FREE for staff working for one of our buy in schools. A small charge will apply for those staff who would like to attend from non buy in schools.

🌟Free school meals 🌟

Due to the government changes to eligibility for free school meals you may now be entitled to receive them if you claim universal credit, even if you work. But you do still need to apply.
You can do so by clicking on this link https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/services/schools-and-education/at-school/free-school-meals/free-school-meals.aspx

The new rules start on the 1st September but are being considered now. The application takes no more than 5 minutes and you will need your national insurance number, child’s name, date of birth and school. They check eligibility from your national insurance number prior to you completing the child’s details.
