What a fantastic turn out for this afternoon's Macmillan Coffee Morning!

So many wonderful cake donations were given in which meant plenty of treats for everybody to enjoy ! Thank you to everyone for their donations and their help to set up and serve.

A fantastic amount of money has been raised for this worthy charity. However, if you could'nt make it and wish to make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support there is a link below or alternatively use the QR code to donate through the school account.

🌿 We're delighted to officially open our brand new outdoor learning centre, Y Ffau ("The Den"), at our Forest School site! 🌿

Named by one of our pupils, Y Ffau is much more than a new building—it's a place where curiosity is sparked, confidence grows and learning comes alive.

At Leighton CP School, every child is known, valued and nurtured. Our enquiry-led curriculum encourages children to explore, question and discover through meaningful, hands-on experiences, and Y Ffau provides the perfect environment for this to happen. We're incredibly proud of this exciting addition to our school and can't wait to see the adventures, discoveries and memories that will be made here.

We were so pleased to have the Mayor of Welshpool, Mr. William Rowell, officially open "Y Ffau" for us, and we were joined by Mr. Paul Roughley of the Conservation Trust, the Severn Rivers Trust, and the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. Such a wonderful afternoon was had by all!

Choosing the right school is one of the biggest decisions you'll make for your child. If you'd like to see what life is like at our friendly village school, we'd be delighted to welcome you for a visit. Leighton CP School, growing happy, kind and confident learners.

💚 Please share this post to help us celebrate this exciting new chapter for our school community.
