🌿 We're delighted to officially open our brand new outdoor learning centre, Y Ffau ("The Den"), at our Forest School site! 🌿

Named by one of our pupils, Y Ffau is much more than a new building—it's a place where curiosity is sparked, confidence grows and learning comes alive.

At Leighton CP School, every child is known, valued and nurtured. Our enquiry-led curriculum encourages children to explore, question and discover through meaningful, hands-on experiences, and Y Ffau provides the perfect environment for this to happen.We're incredibly proud of this exciting addition to our school and can't wait to see the adventures, discoveries and memories that will be made here.

We were so pleased to have the Mayor of Welshpool, Mr. William Rowell, officially open "Y Ffau" for us, and we were joined by Mr. Paul Roughley of the Conservation Trust, the Severn Rivers Trust, and the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. Such a wonderful afternoon was had by all!
