Harmful myths persist – too many people assume dyslexia is linked to a lack of intelligence. It isn’t. Dyslexic young people have incredible strengths, and it’s time the world recognised them.

Only THREE DAYS left to support this petition, so please add your voice NOW!!

Dyslexia Awareness Week comes to an end this weekend - so it's more crucial than ever to get your voice HEARD!! We've partnered with the British Dyslexia Association and made the UK's FIRST EVER voice petition to get your opinion out there as the government makes key decisions about Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) support in schools. Tell us what you think needs improvement - or even what works - so you can directly improve the system!! >> https://dyslexiavoicepetition.com/

🎉 To kick off Dyslexia Awareness Week 2025, we’re proud to support a truly unique initiative from Jamie Oliver and the British Dyslexia Association - a voice petition calling for every child with dyslexia to get the support they deserve.

It’s the first of its kind in the UK, hosted exclusively on Spotify, and it flips the traditional petition on its head. Instead of signing your name, you record your message, because not everyone communicates in the same way.

💚 We’re proud that Patoss has helped launch this campaign with a voice note from our Chief Executive, Lesley Browne, to set the tone by adding her voice to call for action on dyslexia support.

Now we are asking everyone to get involved!

Please join in and record a 1-minute voice note completing the sentence:

👉 “Hi, I’m [NAME] and I’m [CONNECTION / PERSPECTIVE] …”

Together we’ll create a living, breathing message for the Secretary of State that she can’t ignore.

Encouragement builds confidence. Shame tears it down. Dyslexic students don’t need criticism, they need understanding, support, and the freedom to learn in ways that work for them.

Each dyslexic has a different pattern of strengths and challenges. We score extremely highly in some things - often in the top percentiles. But in the areas we find challenging, we score very low - often in the bottom percentiles. We call this our 'spiky profile'.

That's why it's vital, in the workplace, that we focus on our strengths - the things that we're naturally good at - and delegate our challenges.

Find out how to empower your at work, and learn to advocate for what you need to thrive, with our FREE 1 hour training on LinkedIn Learning.
