We work in collaboration with local schools and with education organizations worldwide on learning development programmes. Our work includes professional development study visits for teachers, teacher training and orientation programmes, creative workshops, outdoor education activities for school groups, education consultancy, school linking projects and development of teaching resources. We have
developed a resource of information which we share with visiting groups which include rural and urban case studies, interpretation and explanations of Indian culture and traditions, with a focus on the changing and developing social geography and culture of our locality. Our centre "the land" is very rural and 'outdoorsy', with simple shared facilities and accommodation. Visitors come ready to enjoy home cooked food, simple shared community living, and experiences of education outdoors. Our facilities include residential accommodation, gardens and a pottery studio. Our work also includes projects relating to education for sustainability, art and craft projects, and development of primary science resources.
