That’s a wrap! 🎄✨
After a very busy term full of learning, laughter, crafts, and lots of fun, this childminder is officially off duty for two weeks. I couldn’t be prouder of all the little ones and everything we’ve packed into the term.

I am currently undertaking the Level 3 Early years SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) qualification to further enhance my skills and knowledge in supporting children with additional needs.

Providing an inclusive, supportive, and nurturing environment is a key part of my role as a childminder. This training is equipping me with the tools to ensure that every child, regardless of their individual needs, feels safe, included, and able to reach their full potential.

Once completed, I will be a qualified Early years SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). This will allow me to take on an even more active role in identifying needs, co-ordinating support, and working closely with families to ensure every child receives the care and opportunities they deserve.

Inclusive practice is not just important. It is essential in helping all children grow, learn, and thrive together ❤️❤️

Wow! What an incredible Spring we've had and what amazing weather!
We've been making full use of the wonderful, enriching, outdoors learning environments that we're lucky enough to have on our doorstep. We've spotted signs of spring, new growth, and new colour returning to our favourite play area, The Bishop's Palace, and we visited the bluebell woods. We've created art from nature and taken inspiration from nature to create art, painting bluebell pictures and decorating cardboard easter eggs with colours we spotted in the hedgerows.
We were lucky enough to visit the firestation for a look at the big fire engine and have a sit inside it & listen to the sirens, thank you Wells Fire Service for this special treat. And of course we've been meeting up with our friends at Louisa Nutt - Childminder in wells
Spring has well and truly sprung and we're looking forward to summer now with hopes of more great weather and lots more adventures.

Today, we have been to the Bishops Palace to see all of the beautiful spring flowers in bloom. We focused on the daffodils today and the children painted their own daffodil masterpieces which they were very proud of using green and yellow paint. The older children were able to look at the daffodils around them and paint their long stems and petals whilst the younger children enjoyed mixing the colours to create theirs. The children then enjoyed a picnic lunch and a play at the Dragons lair 😊🌞. A lovely day.
