We were delighted to welcome 22 teams who joined us for a fantastic day of golf, fundraising, and community spirit, all in support of Alfie Nick Foundation

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we are thrilled to announce that we raised an amazing £6,225, with every penny going directly to The Alfie Nick Foundation. These funds will help support children within the care system, children living with disabilities, and young people facing mental health challenges.

One of the standout moments of the day came on the 14th hole, where Gareth Cooper, playing as part of Berry & Escott Engineering team.

We were also honoured to have representatives from The Alfie Nick Foundation join us on the day. They shared Alfie's heartfelt story and gave us a powerful insight into how the funds raised will make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people who need support the most.

Finally, thank you to every player, sponsor, donor, and supporter who helped make the day such a tremendous success. Together, we have not only enjoyed a fantastic day on the course but have also helped create opportunities, through the incredible work of The Alfie Nick Foundation.

What an incredible result to look back on ⛳

Last year, we hosted our first Charity Golf Day at the club in support of Children’s Hospice South West and what a day it turned out to be!

The day brought together players, sponsors, and supporters for an enjoyable occasion, all united by a shared commitment to raising funds for an incredibly important cause. The collective efforts across all fundraising activities resulted in an outstanding total of £51,784.

We are proud that our Charity Golf Day contributed £4,100 towards this final amount, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part, donated, and supported the event. Your generosity made a meaningful difference.

We are very much looking forward to this year’s Charity Golf Day and hope that the event will have the same positive impact and success as last year.

A productive visit on site today, making the most of the sunshine ☀️

Today we completed a Fire Risk Assessment and a comprehensive Fire Door Survey at a great location, with some impressive views along the way.

Ensuring buildings remain compliant and, above all, safe for occupants is always our priority.

Dan, our Health & Safety Consultant, has been busy delivering a number of Fire Marshal training sessions for our clients. Here’s a short snippet from a recent session held at Fraser Anti-Static Techniques Ltd

The training begins with a comprehensive classroom-based session, covering fire safety responsibilities, prevention measures, and emergency procedures. This is then followed by a practical element where delegates gain hands-on experience using fire extinguishers in a controlled environment.

Providing both the knowledge and practical skills ensures attendees leave the course confident and prepared to respond effectively in the event of a fire.
