Looking for a unique Christmas gift? Well the children at Sampford Arundel (Swallows) preschool along with the rest of the school, have been hard at work producing this fabulous tea towel with every child’s self-portrait on it.

We will be selling these tea towels at £5 each or 3 for £12.50 on the Green after school over the next few weeks. We only have a limited stock so these are available on first come first serve basis!

All the children who attend preschool at Sampford on Monday’s & Tuesday’s are included.

Hi all just a little update. We've heard that there may have been some confusion with our event and as to whether it is still happening. Our event is most definitely still ON! We are aware that numbers of covid have increased throughout our area so to allow for this we have altered the plans slightly and some activities will be moved under the shelter outside to allow more space inside to enjoy refreshments and make witches or wizards hats. Therefore just be prepared to wear a few more clothes for your Halloween Fun to allow for it possibly being a little chillier. We can't wait to welcome you all and watch everyone have some Halloween fun all in aid of the children at preschool!

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified member of staff to join our small but mighty team at the WARF Preschools! We are child-led, so the ability to act like a child and be part of their play is essential. You need to be able to think on your feet and have a good knowledge of the EYFS to enable you to effectively plan in the moment. If you haven't worked in this way before, don't let that put you off, we are very happy to support the right person to develop their skills to work in this way.

The vacancy is 9-3, Wednesday to Friday at Stawley Preschool, with fortnightly staff meetings on a Wednesday. Additional hours are available for setting up from 8am on a Wednesday and covering on a Monday/Tuesday at Sampford Arundel when needed.

I'm not a poet, but a couple of years ago, with some input from the team, we wrote this poem. A message to the children moving on today ❤️

One of the things we pride ourselves on is the strong bonds we build with our children. It's so important to hear 'I love you too' from the adults caring for you! It's professional love, not the love we feel for our own children, of course, but love nonetheless.

We love you all and can't wait to see you shine as you make your way through life # # #

There are lots of new houses in Wellington and I know I lived here for a long time before I even knew Sampford Arundel and Stawley existed! I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share this post in local residents groups (Monument View etc) to get the word out.

A bit about us... Swallows and Stawley preschools are managed by a qualified teacher with over 12 years experience throughout the early years and primary age range.
