Great excitement in the Prep School for Year 6 School Captain Ted, who has been shortlisted for this years BBC Radio 3 Christmas Carol Competition. In this, the tenth anniversary year, they have added a junior section for 11-15 year olds.
Ted's melody was selected as one of four finalists from hundreds of entries. He then visited Maida Vale studios in order to work with composer Iain Farrington (the Coronation composer) and the BBC Singers choir, to produce the final carol which can be heard throughout this week on BBC Radio 3 and can be found on the BBC website via the link below. A beautiful tribute outside of chapel ahead of our remembrance events this weekend. Chapel service is at 10.45, followed by the parade with the Corps of Drums that leaves the Quad at 2.30. Do join us if you are free, everyone is most welcome.

Wellington School launched its 3-18 Music Department on Wednesday, performing two works by well-known French composers Paul Dukas and Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns.

Wellington School Chapel Choir premiered "Unless the Lord Builds Up The House" by John Young on Sunday. We were very pleased to have the composer in the congregation.
