The preschool children had a lovely trip to the library! 📚 They had so much fun choosing books, reading stories and enjoying some lovely time with their friends.

But the best part of the trip? The very important café stop on the way back to nursery! 😂🍦 The children were lucky enough to enjoy a nice, cool ice cream — because obviously, after all that serious reading, they needed a well-deserved treat! 😋

Books, friends and ice cream… what more could you ask for? ❤️📚🍦

Emma came into Pre-School to teach us some Karate, and we had an absolute blast! We kicked, punched, blocked and practised our best ninja moves. 😄💪

We all loved being little ninjas for the day and had so much fun! 🥷✨

Please join us in congratulating our wonderful nursery manager, Louise, on her 30 years with Daisy Chain Day Care!

Louise began her journey with us in 1996 as a 16-year-old trainee at Our Vineyard Day Nursery. Over the years, she qualified and gained experience in various roles before stepping into a senior position, leading the baby room, where her leadership skills exceled. In 2015, Louise transitioned to Wrekin Prep as the deputy manager, and she was promoted to manager last year.

Throughout her time with us, Louise has cared for and supported countless children and their families, and we are eternally grateful for her hard work and dedication.

Thank you, Louise - you are truly appreciated. 🥰

Preschool have been doing their best to beat the summer heat and stay cool by making their very own fresh strawberry ice cream from scratch! 🍓🍦

From mashing up juicy strawberries to mixing all the ingredients together, everyone loved getting involved in the process. There were lots of smiles and excitement as they watched their delicious ice cream come together.

When asked what their favourite part was, they all agreed—it was getting to taste their lovely homemade ice cream! 😋

What a wonderfully playful morning at Daisie’s pool party! ☀️

The children had SO much fun cooling off in the pools, splashing their friends, throwing balls and having a giggle! 😂💦

Our giant inflatable duck and unicorn were a huge hit, with the children climbing on, jumping off and having lots of fun!

Then it was time to dry off and turn the decking into a mini disco! 🎶🎤🎸 Dancing, singing and plenty of silly fun made for the perfect end to a fantastic morning! 💃🕺

Lots of laughter, lots of splashing and lots of happy little faces! ❤️☀️💦

The Rising Three's children have been getting prepared for the solar eclipse that is happening tonight! They talked about who they will be watching it with and that we need to use special glasses or boxes to watch the eclipse.
The children all designed their eclipse telescopes before rolling them up, sticking them together and cutting out the eye hole; after adding some finishing touches, they are all ready to safely watch the spectacle! 🌒

✨ What a fabulous time we had today with our very special guest, Lili! ✨

Lili taught us two fantastic dances, and everyone loved getting up and moving to the music. She even wowed us by showing us some of her amazing dance tricks and performed one of her own dances!

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and dancing, and everyone had such a wonderful time. Thank you, Lili, for making our day so special! 💃🎶❤️

⚽🌼 Daisies loved going on a little adventure down to the school field to have a run around and practise their football skills!

We even spotted some birds and heard a train go past, making our adventure even more exciting. 🐦🚂

The children had an amazing time running around together, practising their kicking skills, and even scoring a few goals! It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun while building their confidence, coordination, and teamwork.

What a fantastic morning of fresh air, active play, and happy smiles! 💛⚽

A big well done and congratulations to all the children who have now graduated from preschool! 🎓

The children had a wonderful time celebrating with all their friends, dancing the afternoon away, enjoying lots of yummy food, and singing our special song together.

A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who attended. It meant so much to the children to have you there celebrating this special milestone with them. We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and wish them all the very best as they begin their next exciting adventure at school!

Good luck, Class of 2026 – keep smiling, keep believing in yourselves, and never stop shining. We are so proud of you all. 🎓✨💙
