We hope we never see a stick as just a stick....

To a child, it might be a wand, a fishing rod, a car, a dinosaur bone or something we haven’t even imagined.

A puddle becomes an ocean.
A stone becomes treasure.
A fallen branch becomes a den, a bridge or a whole new adventure.

Perhaps that’s the magic of Forest School: children remind us that the ordinary can be extraordinary when we give imagination the space to lead.

What a lovely morning we had last Friday at our Roarers Playgroup - Thank you to everyone who joined us.

We loved watching little ones explore, create, discover and play.

We will be back this Friday for more playgroup fun.

We’re in the news!

We’re so excited to see Wrekin Forest School featured in the local newspaper following the funding we received from Barratt Homes to create our new sensory garden.

The garden has been designed with the children at the heart of it, a space where they can develop communication and language skills, build physical abilities, grow in confidence, learn to work together and, most importantly, support their wellbeing.

We’re incredibly grateful to Barratt Homes for making this possible. The funding has allowed us to create a space where children can slow down, explore, get curious and connect deeply with the natural world.

We’re heading back into the woods for our **All About Me** Roarers session.

A lovely morning for pre-schoolers to explore, play, create and enjoy the outdoors with their grown-up.

Come along to 5 Roarers Playgroup sessions and your 6th session is FREE.
