Our talented Under 11 football team are also preparing for their own final in the Telford Plate Competition! After a fantastic run of performances, the team are ready for the final test.

A huge well done to our Reception pupils, who put on a brilliant assembly this morning. Through a variety of songs linked to their learning, they took us on a journey through their incredible year, sharing memorable experiences and favourite moments. Their confidence, enthusiasm and excitement for starting Year 1 were clear to see! 🎢⭐

We’re proud to be hosting, in partnership with More House School, Frensham, our upcoming SEND CPD Conference for professionals working with pupils aged 4–18.

Bringing together experts from across the sector, the conference will explore the latest research, practical strategies and innovative approaches to supporting children and young people with SEND.

We’ll be joined by Professor Joni Holmes, who will share insights from the latest CALM research, alongside Eleanor Margesson from More House School, who will discuss the practical application of β€œLearning Beyond the Label” in schools.

With specialist seminars covering assistive technology, language development, class mapping and embedding SEND support across teaching standards, the day promises valuable learning, collaboration and professional discussion.

From bassoon and saxophone to piano, drums, and vocal performances, our Year 3 pupils showcased a fantastic range of musical skills.

To finish this morning's concert, the entire year group joined together for a special song celebrating the wonders of the world and the joy of appreciating the natural world around us.

Our Year 4 and 5 pupils travelled back in time for a fantastic day of Ancient Greek learning at . πŸ›οΈ

From tackling philosophical questions and testing their debating skills to getting creative with art, astrology and drama, the pupils threw themselves into a range of exciting activities throughout the day.

The day ended with a performance inspired by stories from Homer's The Odyssey, as pupils brought characters and adventures to life on stage. βš‘πŸ“–

Bringing together colleagues from state, independent and specialist settings, this conference offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading research, practical strategies and expert insights designed to make a meaningful difference for children and young people with SEND.

The day will feature a keynote address from Professor Joni Holmes, exploring the latest CALM research and challenging traditional diagnostic frameworks to better support children's unmet needs.
