Rockets Pre School

Yesterday we were lucky to have a visit from a paramedic! We learnt all about her job on the ambulances and what number we should call in an emergency. She bought some bandages, slings, foil blankets and her stethoscope. We all enjoyed being able to listen to our own hearts and being bandaged up!

This morning the older children were very excited to put on our Christmas hats and go out for a walk and post our letter to Santa! How exciting - we hope he replies! 🎅🏻🚀

This morning we talked about seeing the fireworks last night. 🎆 We then made our own firework toast for snack! We painted our slices of bread to design our own fireworks and then the ladies toasted them for our snack - yummy!

We’ve had a very busy first couple of weeks back at Rockets! Our new children have all settled really well and we have had lots of fun! We have been;

Picking apples from our trees 🍎
Making paper plate faces of ourselves 🧒
Measuring against the height chart 📏
Lots of dancing 💃
Doing lots of drawing ✍️
Lots of playing with our friends and even making some new friends! 👫

Hi all,

We hope you’ve all had a lovely summer break! The ladies have been busy in school today, doing training and then getting the room ready for the children to come back tomorrow! We look forward to seeing all of our old children again, as well as meeting all our new children.

We would also like to wish our old Rockets children lots of luck for their first day at school - we can’t wait to see you all looking so grown up in your school uniform!

We would like to wish all of our school starters lots of luck for starting school in September! We have really enjoyed watching you all grow and develop into the children you are today. Thank you for all the fun and laughs we have had along the way - we will miss you!

A big thank you also for all of our cards, gifts and kind words, they are very much appreciated.

If your child has now left Rockets, you should have received an email with a link to your childs learning journal which you will be able to download and keep if you wish.

We hope you all have a lovely summer break, and we look forward to seeing most of you in September in your school uniform!

Wow aren’t we so lucky?! The Villa Verde Italian Restaurant very kindly sent in a pizza each for the ladies, and also some pizza for the children to share! Thank you Villa Verde, we all really enjoyed our lunch 😋🍕
