At Warwick Community Playschool, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. We offer a play-based curriculum, which is a mixture of child-initiated play, and a variety of planned experiences designed around the children's needs and interest. The EYFS is the basis for all future learning, building a foundation for their learning journey into school and beyond. We are very proud o

f our staff team who ensure that all children feel welcomed and a part of the Playschool community. We operate a key person system, with each key person being linked to a small number of families in each session. It is the Key persons responsibility to ensure that the children and families have settled into the Playschool, offer support during the families time within the playschool and to plan for Children's learning and development. Children either attend a morning session (8.50am until 11.50am) or an afternoon session (12.40pm untill 3.40pm) and we offer the 2 year old funding and the 3 and 4 year old funding as well as paid sessions. We offer family sessions, such as rhymetime and days linked to special events, where family members are welcomed into the setting to take part in activities. We also invite families to take an active part in the running of our Playschool by joining the Warwick Community Playschool Committee.
