What a beautiful week. One of the most significant blessings of being a childminder is the flexibility to adapt and change the plan. Monday we had our usual ‘at home’ day to get back into the swing of things and regroup and do some Father’s Day crafts. The children had also shown some keen interest in ball games- particularly the hoop. Naturally Tuesday we took our imaginative play to a park and were able to extend our ball skills on the court. Wednesday another park trip with the children showing keen interest in buttercups and daisies- counting and comparing them. Thursday we visited seasons garden centre to take a closer look at the fish and see if we could find nemo. And we had a browse through the books on offer. Also, Joe put up a towel rail using his drill and the children showed an interest in this too so naturally began building and fixing things “just like Joe”. 👏🏻

What a lovely half term that was. A lot of the slow moments of magic don’t make it to social media but it’s so lovely to reflect. So much teamwork and dedication to friendships. The play together has just evolved and social emotional and personal development has just rocketed. Couldn’t be more proud of my Little Leaves 🍃 the final term is ahead of us. 7 weeks I hope to fill full of memories, sun and love ❤️
