Yesterday it was International Friendship Day! 💛

It’s a day to celebrate the friendships that bring so much joy, support and encouragement into our lives.

At PQA, friendship is at the heart of everything we do. Every week, our students look forward to seeing their academy friends, cheering each other on, growing in confidence together and collaborating on exciting projects. From shared laughs in class to unforgettable performances, these are the moments and memories that can last a lifetime. ✨

We’re so proud to see the friendships that flourish at PQA and the positive impact they have both on and off the stage. Here’s to celebrating every smile, every achievement and every friendship. 🙌

🎬✨ Last Week at PQA! ✨🎭

Another fantastic week full of creativity and collaboration!

🎥 Film & TV – We started filming our exciting stop-motion projects, bringing imaginative ideas to life one frame at a time.

🎭 Comedy & Drama – Students began staging their drama pieces and explored physical theatre techniques, developing storytelling through movement, expression and teamwork.

🎤 Musical Theatre – We’re putting the finishing touches on our Propstar project, nailing the choreography before we bring props in.

We’re so proud of the hard work, creativity and enthusiasm shown by all our students this week! 🌟

✨ COMEDY & DRAMA AT PQA WELLINGBOROUGH & RAUNDS ✨

Over the next couple of weeks, our students are diving into something really exciting… creating theatre using NOTHING but themselves! 🎭

No props.
No set.
No screens.

Just imagination, teamwork, and creativity 💥

Through a series of high-energy workshops, students will:
🎬 Build strong ensemble skills
🧠 Unlock their imagination
🕺 Explore movement, mime, and non-naturalistic performance
📖 Bring stories, poetry, and characters to life
🌍 Create entire worlds using just their bodies and voices

This scheme is all about building confidence, creativity, and TRUST in themselves as performers 💫

We can’t wait to see what they create… because when the ensemble is strong, anything is possible 🔥

I bet you’re wondering what our youngest Academy students have been up to… 👀🎪

Well… they’ve been off to the CIRCUS! 🤹‍♀️✨

Through a fun, circus-themed performing arts experience, they’ve been singing, dancing, and acting learning choreography, performing to each other, and even showcasing their own individual skills 🎶💃🎭

Each child learned something new and had the confidence to perform it in front of their peers building bravery and self-belief from such a young age 🌟

Alongside their performing arts training, they’ve also been developing important life skills for now and for the future 💛
✨ Confidence and public speaking
✨ Encouraging and supporting others
✨ Teamwork and kindness
✨ Resilience when things don’t go right the first time

What makes it even more special is that they’re learning all of this through creative, exciting themes that spark their imagination and keep it fun every single week 🎪✨

This is what our Academy is all about growing confident, supportive young people through performing arts 🎭

WE’RE BACK and we’ve MISSED YOU! 🎭✨

After an incredible run of Seussical (and lots of well-deserved celebrations 🎉), PQA is officially back in action! Last Saturday marked our first session in three weeks and what a return it was!

Our students have worked so hard performing, supporting each other, and juggling it all alongside school, so that Easter break was more than earned. We hope it was filled with chocolate 🍫, laughter, and quality family time 💛

Now we’re back, recharged, and ready for more magic…

Our amazing cast have been working so hard bringing the colourful world of Seuss to life, and we are so proud of the energy, creativity and teamwork we’re seeing every week! 🎭✨

It’s wonderful to see the confidence growing and the characters coming alive this show is going to be something really special! ❤️

To our wonderful parents, thank you for your unwavering support and trust; it means more than you know.

And most importantly, a massive thank you to our amazing children. I am so unbelievably proud of everything you are achieving. Every Seussical rehearsal, you continue to grow, shine, and amaze us all. You should be so proud of yourselves you truly deserve the best show ever. I can’t thank you enough for being the best pupils I could ever ask for.

I’m so proud to be your Principal, and I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for us. Please keep being the amazing, kind individuals that you are.
