Please make sure to:
✨ Remove false nails and false eyelashes
✨ Keep hair a natural colour
✨ Stick to simple jewellery: one set of ear studs, clear facial piercings only

These standards help us all focus on what matters most - learning and achieving together!

We can't wait to welcome our students back on Wednesday 2nd September for an exciting new year at Huxlow Academy!

First Day Reminders:

* Y7-11 start with form tutors for settling in before regular lessons
* Y12 starts 9.10am
* Y13 starts Period 3 (Thursday 3rd Sept)

* New House ties available from main reception

📱 Phone-Free School: Following DfE guidance, phones must be off and out of sight during the school day. Any phone seen or heard will be placed on reception for parent/carer collection.

If your child currently receives Free School Meals, or if your family receives Universal Credit, you may need to apply (or re-apply) for the 2026/27 school year.

Well done to Julian celebrating his fantastic results! 🎨📚✨

His hard work has truly paid off as he has achieved: 8s in Art & Design, English Language, English Literature, and French, alongside stellar 7s in History, Maths, and Science and a 6 in Business Studies!.

He will be continuing his journey right here with Huxlow and Rushden Academy Sixth Form for his A-Levels!

Celebrating Ethan and Liam this GCSE results day!

Both boys have put in serious effort, and their results speak for themselves:

Ethan secured 9s in Computer Science, Maths, and Combined Science (9/8), 8s in English Language and French, and 7s in Music, History, and English Literature.

Liam achieved 8s in Computer Science and Maths, 7/6 in Combined Science, a 7 in French, and 6s across English Language, English Literature, and History.

Both Ethan and Liam will be staying on with Huxlow and Rushden Academy Sixth Form! We are extremely proud of you both.

She has acheieved 8 in French, 7s in History, Maths, English Literature, and Combined Science (7/6), a 6 in Sociology, and 5s in Business and English Language.

Huge congratulations to Ellie on a fantastic set of GCSE results!

She put in the hard work and smashed it across the board, achieving 8s in Maths and French, double 7s in Combined Science (7/7), and 6s in Photography and English Language and a 5 in English Literature.

We are so pleased that Ellie will be staying on with Huxlow and Rushden Academy Sixth Form to take on her A-Levels! We are so proud of you Ellie!
